Bali - The Happy Apec Top

The Secretary of State John Kerry showed up at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Nusa Dua in a psychedelic purple "Endek", a shirt made out of tradition Balinese woven
textiles, looking well, not completely at home. His selection was bolder than that of some of the other world leaders who posed for a big group photo, Vladimir Putin, for example, got away with dark green.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was treated to a surprise birthday celebration yesterday from a number of other APEC delegates. Putin was congratulated by many other heads of state during his 61st birthday party at the Sofitel Hotel, where he was given a birthday cake. Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono then played guitar and sang Happy Birthday.
