The beach is located in Wonosari, Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta, not too far from the Kukup beach which is about 3 km. Although it's a small beach, Sundak offers exciting beauty. We do really enjoy the beauty here.

Sundak offers beautiful beaches with white sand, rocks and great caves formed from it. According to the story,  It's name was derived from Asu (dogs) and Landak (hedgehog), where a dog and a hedgehog beetled in this beach, and eventually won by the dog. So local residents named this beach by Sundak Beach.

Kukup is a white sandy beach with a path that cut through hills that connect it to the beach Baron. On this beach there is a coral island is also connected by bridges senggol. From the top of this island we can see a fairly broad view of the coast and very beautiful with large waves. Coral Island
Once satisfied to enjoy the beauty of the coast of the island, we could go down to enjoy the beautiful white sand on this beach. In the afternoon the sea water began to recede, so we can be free to just take a walk on the beach, or playing with white sand here.

That is no less exciting, lots of sea creatures that live in this coastal environment. Starting from a colorful fish, crabs are often paced by the beach, or a jellyfish that can make body itch if we hold it. If want to catch fish or crabs with ease, we can buy small nets traded by traders on the beach. And if we want to bring home the ornamental fish without bothering to catch it yourself, we can buy it on the way out the beach. there are many merchants who traded with a variety of ornamental marine fish species, such as clown fish, starfish, sea snakes, and many others.
